About Night of Hope

Street Ransom’s Annual Fundraising Event

October 23, 2021

Night of Hope is Street Ransom’s annual fundraising event. Join us as we gather as one to celebrate our safe home, The Lampstand, and bring hope for children recovered from sex trafficking. All funds raised during this event go directly to support the safe home and underage victims of sex trafficking.

Jenn Lilley

Actress Jen Lilley was born and raised right here in Roanoke, Virginia! She has been featured in movies on both the Hallmark and Lifetime channel. She is an avid supporter of Street Ransom and child advocacy. When asked why she feels called to be involved in the fight against trafficking, she says, “If not I, than who?”

Meet our Survivor Speaker

Alia Dewees

From the very start of her life, Alia felt lost. Her experiences took her from abused child, to teen trafficking victim, to adult industry performer. In each of these stages of life, she felt unbearable brokenness and shame that threatened to tear her apart. Through the support of restorative care she was able to find healing, new life, and her passion. Alia was told from a young age that she would never be capable of surviving outside of exploitation. She now works to help other trafficking survivors, and those leaving the commercial sex industry find their way to freedom.

Hear Alia share her testimony at Night of Hope!
